What To Know Before Your First Beatbike Class
Sometimes coming to a new spin studio can be intimidating. Whether you’ve cycled before or it’s your first time, we want to make sure you know what to expect when you come in to Beatbike. Hopefully this will help set you up to have a successful and fun cycle experience. We can’t wait to have you become part of the Beatbike community!
Arrive at least 10 minutes before class
Coming in before class early is so important your first time. You will need to get checked in, get cycle shoes and a proper bike fit. Our lovely front desk staff will even give you a quick tour so you feel right at home! This gives you time to properly prepare for class and ensures you are not late. It is Beatbike policy that we do not let any riders in 3 minutes after the class begins as to not disturb the other riders in class.
2. Bring a water bottle with you
Like any workout, it’s important to make sure you bring water with you to rehydrate throughout the class. If you forget a water bottle at home, Beatbike has you covered! As part of Beatbike’s commitment to going green, we sell reusable water bottles and have an alkaline water tap for our riders to use.
3. Check out the instructor bio’s on our website to see which one fits your style best
Every one of our instructors are amazing and will help you get your sweat on! However, if you feel unsure as to who’s class to book, go check out their bio’s on our website. This will give you a better idea of their teaching style, music and who they are as people!
4. Beatbike also offers group fitness classes
Is cycling really not your thing? We’ve got you covered! Beatbike also offers group fitness classes, such as Beatbody or Abs Buns and Thighs.
*NOTICE: 7/29/19 Will be our last day for group fitness until The Legion Gym opens to take over our group fitness program in August!
5. The more you ride, the more perks you get
We love our riders and we want you to know how appreciated you are! If you continue to ride with us, you can earn cool swag for passing cycle milestones as soon as when you hit 50 rides! From free cycle shoes, personalized jackets and even membership perks, our loyalty program makes sure you feel the love every time you ride with us.
6. Stay for the cool down and stretch
You work your muscles hard in class so you want to make sure you get a good stretch in at the end of class. This will help with soreness and tightness. It also gives you time to breathe and just relax- which is the best part!
7. Have FUN!
At Beatbike, the most important thing is that you show up and have fun. The numbers and calories don’t matter as long as you leave with a smile on your face.
